Subsurface Utility Engineering
CNC Civil Services, LLC provides full site investigations of the project area. This includes marking of all utilities identified, providing field sketch by delineating the investigation results, and identifying and contacting underground facility owners with the project limits. An in-depth investigation of site is performed using electronic utility locating equipment. Available utility records, maps, etc are used as a tool to guide the investigation. Utility sweeps are performed for unknown utilities in the area. Robotic and GPS surveying/plotting of the utility investigation results includes all underground utility related features, designations, anomalies. Final deliverable includes a CADD & PDF file representing the results of the investigation. Project specific field notes are included as part of the deliverable. Non-destructive methods of excavating safely expose existing utilities. Precise horizontal & vertical data is obtained on targeted conflicts. Marking/staking of the location & site restoration is performed. Surveying of the location for precise data & preparation of formal test hole reports including pictures.
